I am a Teaching Assistant Professor of Geology at Oklahoma State University, where my focus is on undergraduate core curriculum with particular emphasis on field-based education.
Research-wise, I study the structural and thermal evolution of the Earth's crust, primarily in collisional tectonic environments. I utilize methods such as thermochronology, structural geology, surface process and geodynamic modeling, and paleomagnetism to try to understand how mountain chains are created and destroyed over long (or short) timespans.
